I've jumped on 6 months to a painting I did today, 'Middle Blue'. So much has happened in the last 6 months. Primarily I've moved to London and have a tiny studio at Inky Cuttlfish in Walthamstow. The move was challenging to say the least and because of this I felt my work warranted a new direction, abstraction. While I'm still hugely interested in the human figure I'm hoping ultimately my work will be the better for a change in direction. I want to look at what paint does as well as what it represents in a literal way.
